Do Not Stand At My Grave And Weep is a book of beautiful writing about grief. Lucie Storrs has put together a collection that comes from the very being of the authors. In this book there is something for everyone, regardless of faith or belief system – you cannot help but find a poem
or quotation that touches the heart. I hope this resource reaches everyone in their time of need and is able to offer comfort and hope that love lives on…

They have done a remarkable job - a wonderful selection of poetry, clearly presented. They truly are providing an exceptional service for the bereaved; and I don’t know if it’s just me, but love and kindness, care and compassion, seem to suffuse everything you do in relation to this project. Here’s wishing them ongoing success; it’s thoroughly deserved.
Pros: wonderful poems

A great book for the early days, but of course it’s good for afterwards too (when in some ways things are harder as everyone goes back to their lives except you). I did have a cry when I read some of the poems, and felt much better for it.
Pros: well written
Cons: none

I loved the mix of religious and non-religious poems and the mix of old and new. It’s not every day that poetry books move so easily from Buddha, Lucretius and Seneca to W.H. Auden, Larkin and the Bible – it’s wonderfully eclectic.
Pros: great resource
Cons: none
